Trinity Preschool is a ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church serving 4 - 5 year olds.
Our Mission:
To provide a Christian atmosphere that will touch young lives with God's love while preparing their minds and spirits for a successful school experience.
Class Options
3-Day Class
We offer 3-day classes M-W-F from 9:00-11:30 a.m. and M-W-F from 12:30-3:00 p.m.
5-Day Class
We offer 5-day classes M-T-W-R-F from 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Meet Our Team
Penny Allen, Director
5 Day Teacher
Penny began working with children at Lancaster Elementary as a volunteer teacher's aid for Kindergarten. Her ability to communicate with the children proved a wonderful asset for the teachers she assisted. Since joining the staff at Trinity Preschool in 2005, the children in her class are fortunate enough to benefit from her kind, creative and caring ways. Penny enjoys teaching and preparing the children for kindergarten. Her hobbies include crafts, working in her flower gardens and home improvement projects. Penny, and her husband, Tim, have 3 married children, and they love spending time with their wonderful grandchildren.
Becky Fisher, Teacher, 3-day class
Becky began her teaching career at Trinity Preschool in 2000. She has made an impact in many young lives through mission trips, VBS, Sunday School and as a volunteer "Reading Buddy" to grade school children. Becky has a passion for helping children explore the joy of learning and shares her passion for Jesus. Becky, and her husband, John, have two married children, Suzanne and Kevin. They love spending time with their grandchildren, being outdoors, taking walks together, and are big fans of college sports. One or her greatest joys is spending time with her family.
Amanda Nolen, Teacher, 3-day class
Amanda began working as a teaching assistant at Trinity Preschool in 2024. and eventually transitioned to the role of teacher. She has had 15 years of experience in caring for children in one capacity or another. During her senior year of high school Amanda spent time at Trinity when she participated in the Early Childhood Education Program. "From there I have loved what Trinity has to offer to its kids and their families. I enjoy being with the children every day and watching their minds grow" she says. Amanda is a lifelong resident of Huntington. She spends much of her free time with her niece and nephews, who hold a special place in her life. She also loves to do crafts and spend time with friends and family.
Mallory McLaughlin, Teacher's Assistant
Mallory joined Trinity Preschool as a Teacher's Assistant in 2025. Since 2017 she has been providing nanny services to families and has consistently shown enthusiasm for babysitting. Mallory is particularly fond of the positive atmosphere at Trinity and the structured preschool routine that readies children for kindergarten. As a parent to Maverick, Emrick and Makenna with Kyle, Mallory actively participates in school events and sports, including soccer, baseball, dance and flag football. Her creative pursuits include photography, designing custom team cards, painting, drawing portraits, singing and creating dance routines with her daughter. Mallory is passionate about building meaningful connections and enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.
