About

Trinity Preschool was established in 1987 as a church-sponsored ministry of Trinity United Methodist Church. Trinity Preschool was established to provide children with an academic preparation for Kindergarten in a Christian environment.

Goals and Objectives
Trinity Preschool has the opportunity to make the greatest impact on children in the early years. The goals, objectives and explanations that follow are taken from CAPP, Coordinating Assessment and Programming for Preschoolers by Merle B. Karnes, Ed.D. and Lawrence J. Johnson, Ph.D. The program is a developmental checklist to monitor the children's progress and better identify and meet the children's needs. The assessment is done by observing children as they go through their daily routines. An informal inventory of skills is done for explanation to the parent during Parent/Teacher conferences.
There are five areas in the program: Gross Motor, Fine Motor, General Knowledge and School Readiness, Language and Social Skills. Each area is evaluated throughout the year.
Testimonial
“Trinity Preschool has been an integral part of my children's success in school for several years. The teachers are always welcoming and cheerful, helping each student have a positive start to their day. The classroom crafts and activities keep the little ones learning while also having fun. My children always look forward to class and can't wait for the next school day! The dedication and support provided by the teachers creates and incomparable atmosphere. Their knowledge and experience helped give my children the tools they need to succeed in kindergarten and beyond with a solid educational foundation, and a love for learning.
